Donate the Vehicle That Moves You

No need for repairs, we accept many types of vehicles, running or not: old, used, scrap, or new, your car can make a difference today!

  • Will you still accept my vehicle without the vehicle registration?

    Unfortunately, we cannot. The law requires the vehicle registration. If you do not have it, you can obtain a replacement from your local Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC). Please contact us with any questions.

  • How much of a tax receipt will I get?

    For most vehicles, the receipt value is determined by an evaluation after it is towed and received. If upon inspection a vehicle qualifies for resale and successfully sells, a Fair Market Value tax receipt will be appraised by experienced sales agents. If a car cannot be resold in its current condition, it will be recycled by a professional automotive recycler and the tax receipt will be $700.

  • Do I need to be present when my vehicle is towed?

    If the registered owner cannot be present at the time of pick up, they may defer to a family member or third party so long as the necessary documents are provided:

    1. The bottom part of the vehicle registration (signed)

    2. A signed BC transfer tax form, which can be picked up at any insurance broker in their area

    3. An Authorization letter giving permission to that person to donate their vehicle on their behalf
